BOTA BOTA : a water getaway

BOTA BOTA is a floating spa that is beached in the Old Port area of Montreal. Designed by SID LEE Architecture on a upcycled ferry, it offers a 360 view of the Vieux Port and Saint-Lawrence river. Warm yourself inside the belly of a whale.

A view of the famous Habitat 67 installation. Rich ass condos from the 60s futuristic era. Cars still don’t fly though.

On the front deck, you cant help but have that Scarface feeling (via The world is yours).

The boat has 4 bridges, allowing different chill rooms.

Higher access fees from average spas help to “milk” visitors. So you don’t have this awkward feeling of being trapped in an all inclusive resort somewhere in Punta fata.

Never let me go.

Shut up and listen to the ice.

Sauna introspection.

The best way to enjoy both of the light periods is to arrive in the late afternoon and watch for the sun to set over the city. I promise it will take you away.
