I woke up in a post-retail nightmare.
No more comforting brands.
No more loyalty reward program.
No more overtime bonus possibilities.

I tried to figure out what happened during those 9 years.
Why didn’t I run away?
Was it the fear of adventure?
Was it the comfort of my average aspirations?

Now there was nothing left except a few clipart posters.
It was too late, this place took all the best of me.

I was now trapped in post-suburbia.
